A new look for a new term!

A new look for a new term!

It has been lovely to welcome students back to Haywards Farm School after the Easter holidays. The school has been looking beautiful in the sunshine.

Over the holidays our amazing maintenance team have been hard at work, our Year 5 and 6 students were thrilled with the additional fencing put up which leads onto the carpark and they are hopeful that this will prevent the footballs from constantly going over the fence, students have taken full advantage of the multi surface area which has been laid.

Red Oak has had its classroom split in half to give students smaller learning areas and to provide an environment which isn’t over stimulating, and our intervention and therapeutic room has been decorated to ensure that students sensory needs are met while taking part in targeted interventions and therapeutic input.

We now have an additional outside learning space which is self-sufficient and enables the school to have the space needed to grow and allows students to have an additional learning space.

It has been a pleasure to welcome a number of new staff into the school and for them this week to have had the opportunity to take part in an induction week and get to know our students.
